last question is, if a schrader valve isnt present can you just hook the tool up directly to the pressure hose? (FirstLook Diagnostic Injector Sensor)

The RED Firstlook uses a 1/8" Male, with the correct coupler/adapter you can use the accessories from your fuel pressure kit.

The adapters that are included in the kit are intended for use with the proprietary Schrader type valves that the major manufacturers recommend or are factory installed...Ford, GM, Chrylser, etc.These are a very limited set of adapters.

More complete connector sets are available, ie Lincoln, etc.
