I am a retired MT L1.
I am looking for a home shop diagnostic scanner. Bi directional control and strong capabilities for my 2019 f150 5.0.
I will be doing some other side jobs… is this tool adequate or would you recommend something else?

Yes, the MX900 does have bidirectional control capabilities and has good coverage for the 2019 Ford F150.
It also coverage for all makes/models from 96-current, has CAN-FD coverage for Ford, GM, and Chrysler vehicles 2020 and newer.
