If you are capturing the wavefrom in block mode (100ms/div for faster), there will be no difference in the dispalyed wavefrom quality although you may expereince more hiccups or microfreezes as the screen updates compared to the 3.0 cable.
When capturing waveforms in streaming mode (200ms/div or slower), you will be limited to half the sample rate compared to USB 3.0. This is usually only relevant for very fast singles like CAN Data buy may also present problems if all 4 channels are active and using a longer time per division setting.
You may also encounter power supply problems if using multiple current clamps and a long USB 2.0 cable.
