CV stands for Commerical Vehicle. CVII is newer version for the MS908CV scan tool.
You likely have a MaxiSys 908 or 908 Pro.
If you have an MS908 Pro, it will have a silver vehicle interface and say J2534 on the front.
MS908 PRO Total Care Subscription
If you have an MS908, it will either have a black cabled interface or small obd2 dongle.
MS908 Total Care Subscription
You must choose the correct version for your scan tool or else you will not be able to apply the subscription.
