When it says "if they have hd attached" do that mean when you activate auto it activates HD also? Or do you buy 2?

Some Launch scan tools come with HD coverage. Others have the option of HD coverage through and add-on package. Tools that have the optional HD addon will also receive X431 Fix HD coverage as well.

Yes, Your tool will have X431 fix information for whatever vehicle coverage it has.
