Yes, you will need the FD adapter for all Elite's and the MaxiADAS. This will allow access modules on Fords 2018+ and GM 2020+.

Do I need a FD adapter for late run MaxiSysElite with ADAS with direct connections from scanner to OBD II or Jbox
Have not had opportunity to check physically, but would like to know in advance do I need the FD CAN adapter with my late run Elite with ADAS and MaxiSysADAS ? I can’t get a straight answer from Autel. Will my Elite’s be able to calibrate and access special functions on FD CAN vehicles with or without using Elite J2534(Autel).
