Can the tool identify a voltage drop on the ground side ?
The video only shows voltage drop testing on the positive side.

Yes. When in circuit loading mode, the Hi Vis Pro displays votlage drop. A reading of 0.0 on the ground side would be good. Any voltage reading when probing the ground side would be the voltage drop from that point.
From testing the Hi Vi Pro should be able to detect as little as 10ohms on a 12V system.
