The tool includes 1 YEAR of updates. Launch tools receive many updates per year. At the moment, will have some coverage for 2021 vehicles for common vehicles.

Once the tool is registered it will receive the latest updates available from Launch for the next 12 months.
If the tool is registed in mid-2021, many of those updates will include coverage for 2021 and will most likely include 2022 as well.
Coverage details can be found on this page: http://qcar.x431.com/newqcar/
General rule of thumb for aftermarket tools:
- Never assume they have the absolute latest coverage. Assume they are 6-12 months behind.
- Never assume they provide 100% coverage for any particular vehicle.
