The updates from LaunchTech USA are not compatible with units purchased from Amazon.

will the aeswave update work?

As per the previous comment. The AESwave updates will ONLY work with Launch USA tools. Most tools sold on Amazon are not Launch USA units but instead come directly from China.

So no it will probably not work.
