Yes, attenuation is still necessary for Primary Ignition as the 4425A still has a 200V input range with 250V overvoltage protection.
The new standard kit includes a TA499 10:1 probe with banana plug adapter that can be used for these tests.
The 4425A is also compatiable with standard BNC probes so if would prefer to use a TA197 10:1 attenuator at the scope with a test lead, you can.
