It can be calibrated. You can either send it in to ESI or attempt to do it yourself.

Can I caibrate 685 amp clamp?
My 685 clamp is a awesome tool for parasitic drain. Lately it's been way off. The meter either requires calibration or maybe its just too old. I replaced battery and tried zeroing out unit. It's just not reading accurately,. Any advice before I purchase new on
