I see the updates are listed as free or no cost based on another posted question. What about after a year?
Some scan tool mfrs don't have updates for the first year. Will there be a charge after the first year?
Also is there any videos you're aware of that show this scan tool in action with a laptop or wirelessly as well? Will this Do more than for say your typical run of the mill scan tool such as Snap-On, Autel, Bosch ADS series? I know it don't have bidirectional controls or wiring diagrams but sometimes other data is more relevant especially some of the more in-depth data for fuel trim, volumetric efficiency, sensors from speed tests for braking and other listed things.

Updates are free for the lifetime of the tool.
This tool is Generic OBD2 only, it will not have more functions than the afore mentioned scan tools. All data available will be standard OBD2 PIDs that every scan tool can read.
What it does is allow you to run tests that correlate date and place it into a usable graph. The troubleshooter functions for Fuel Trim, Volumetic Efficiency, and Cat Efficiency create quick, hands off graphs without having to perform calculations, all during a quick test drive.
The speed, braking tests, and relative compression tests are not available in Snap-On, Autel, or Bosch.
