Am I correct in that the MS906BT works via a bluetooth connection and not a wired connection? Also, is there a fitting for the OBDII for Porsche? Thanks in advance

Yes, The MS906BT does uses a wireless, bluetooth vehicle communication interface.

It does not include a Porsche specific adapter.

Thank you for your help. So to use the MS906BT with a Porsche is there a specific adapter that I would need or does this mean that I would need a different model Autel Scanner? Thanks

Porsche uses the standard 16-pin ALDL on most cars US from ~1996 to present. Some cars built after 1996 may require the 19-Pin adapter up until ~2000.

The MS906BT comes with several OBD2 Adapters, again it does NOT include the Porsche adapter. I am not aware of many generic scan tools that do come with it.
