If you are looking for a long term solution to programming and OE diagnostic software the Cardaq-M is a better choice. This is the only expandable J2534 interface available. When the tool is unable to communicate with a new network, a separate module can be purchased and added on to the Cardaq-M. In theory, it will not become obsolete. Like all other Jbox's, the Autel does not have the ability to upgrade the hardware, but it is much less expensive.
I would recommend purchasing the Mega Can module with the Cardaq-M if you plan on using this for Chrysler products. This module is required for some Fiat-Chrysler vehicles as earlier as 2015. You also much have this module to use the WiTech 2.0 software. It is available in a bundle under the combo savings tab on the product page.
None of the Autel tools that include the Jbox will have a TPMS antenna for activating sensors. If you need TPMS functions consider this tool as an addition to your current scan tool:

Or the TS508 if you prefer a standalone tool.
