Possibly.
On many coils, this probe will produce a decent waveform as seen in the pictures.
However, not all coils will produce a strong enough for a these probes to detect since they are internally attenuated.
In that case, you will need to remove the coil and install an extension spark plug lead in order to get your secondary signal.
The limitation is more in the consctruction of the coil than the performance of the probe.
