Every manufacturer has a different process of discovering what the latest calibration number is for a given vehicle. Drewtech includes their J2534 Toolbox software which provides links, videos, and a convenient app which will pull the current calibration number from the vehicle in question.
Outside of the Drewtech Toolbox software you can also navigate to https://www.nastf.org/ There you can find much of the same information and more on their pages for OEM Reprogramming Info and OEM Subscription Prices.
We do recommend that you use a battery maintainer suitable for flash programming such as the Schumacher 100A Flash Programmer Power Supply and Battery Charger. It is available on our website under the Flash Programming Category.
