The Maxi Kit (pt-PQ038) includes three additional adapters for the compression hose:
- Adaptor M10 deep reach (AES# pt-TA214) - Adaptor M16 Ford Triton (AES# pt-TA219) - Adaptor M18 (AES# pt-TA220)
These can be purchased separately and along with the ones included in the Master kit (AES# pt-PP939) will give you all the compression adapters Pico has available.
You may occassionally have need for the additional items included with the Maxi, it would be convenient to have them when you need them but they are not as essential as the compression adapters.

Maybe call AES direct and see what they say. Some mfrs are slower than others updating some systems.
Look at the payback in terms of time savings. If you make X amount per hour and save 5-10 or more per job by having proper equipment vs waiting 2-3 days for addl parts to come in to test the job you're working on how much would you save for say in 6mo based on the amount of jobs but most importantly you may save yourself or your shop time with the vehicle taking up space which could be used for generating profit or getting it done quickly could keep a customer that you may lose if you don't have proper test equipment. If you're flatrate then the time savings per job and what you average can be realized over time. Plus you get another tool in your tool box unless you'll need a newer bigger box of course after a few kit and tool upgrades.
