The HEX-NET hardware runs the PC-based VCDS software.
The HEX-NET hardware also runs on VCDS-Mobile® , which is not an "App" for Android or any other OS. It is platform independent, meaning it can be used on any device that has WiFi and a modern browser.
Video shows it on a Galaxy Note.
VCDS-Mobile does not offer as many functions as the PC-based VCDS, see below...details are listed on the product page underneath the MORE INFO tab.
