For testing secondary with the LS-2000 we recommend you use a Secondary lead that is attenuated 1,000:1.
The Pico secondary is attenuated 10,000:1 and the waveform will appear smaller and less detailed than that captured by a 1,000:1 secondary lead.
Following proper test connection setup there should be no damage to the vehicle, the scope, or you.
Both leads listed below are attenuated 1000:1 and include a ground to the vehicle:
Secondary Pickup (Capacitive) (AES# 01-12)
Universal Secondary Kit (AES# 01-10)
