i am not clear about the difference between the yellow and green probes.
if i were to guess, i would say the yellow probe has variable gain regarding threshold to secondary signal.
the green does not have a variable gain threshold but has super bright leds

The Green probe is meant for ignition systems with a spark plug wire, the probe tip encompasses the wire like a typical seconday igntion lead.
The Yellow probe is design for Coil-on-Plug ignition systems.
