Can the sorware and a PC be incorporated with this unit to run a dynamometer? I have an obsolete BAR97 machine with
Working dyno. The dyno comes in handy to safely collect data at a continuous speed. Is there a way to have software that can operate the dyno with this analyzer? Essentially replacing a BAR97 ESP machine with this unit? Obviously I couldn’t perform certified BAR97 tests but I could perform the equivalent of a pre test at least.

EMS does not make a software that is capable of controling the dyno itself.
We are not aware of any aftermarket software that is capable of controlling that dyno at this time. You would still need to use the orginal computer to control the dyno functions and record data separately with the gas analyzer.
