It will not make a 20:1. There are a handful of variables that determine the outcome.
Pretty simple question does it add, or multiply?
For example, if you had two 10x probes that were designed specifically for this task and to work with the scope you are using...the first 10x probe would take a 100 volt signal in and turn it to 10 volts out. The second 10x probe would turn the 10 volts in to 1 volt out.

Ok I'm using a micsig to1104 it comes 10x probes. Says 10M input resistance
Great. This makes the answer easier to find. First note, the probes are made to work with the characteristics of the scope not connected to another probe in series. To answer your question connect a probe to your scope and to a dc signal. 12 volts for example. Leave the scope probe calibration on 1:1. You should read the 12 volts as 1.2 volts. Next, add your second probe in series and record the reading. If it is .12 volts then it is 100:1. Next do the same test with a digital switching signal. Watch how the voltage and the integrity/shape of the signal changes. Please report back you findings!
