It is more a function of the system and not the probe.
All the probes are good at picking up signals off 2-wire COP.
4-wire COP give off almost no signal.
3-wire COP are hit and miss.
The longest probe: AutoWyze 24-inch WyzeProbe for Secondary Ignition and COP with Test Lead (AES# AW-24) The most flexible: Pico Insulated COP and signal probe (AES# pt-TA204)
The smallest: AES Coil-over-Plug Paddle Probe (AES# 01-16)
