Is the voltage at the bottom left of the scope suoposed to blink red? If so why? please help Mario.

The voltage at the bottom left will blink red if the signal you are connected to is out of range. Meaning the signal you are testing is higher voltage than what is displayed on the uscope screen.
For example, if your test point is a 12v signal and your V/div is set at 0.5v. The total screen voltage on the uScope will be 4v (8 divisions) which is not enough v/div to display the signal.
